Musing Mondays (45) Random Weekly Questions

Musing Mondays is a weekly meme hosted by Jenn at A Daily Rhythm, that asks you to muse about something book related each week.

My Musings for the Week...

Today, I'm going to keep it short by answering some of the random weekly questions I missed.

What do you do with your books once you’ve read them?

I review them before finding a place to fit them on my bookshelf. I typically like to keep my books because there's always a chance I'll want to read them again later.

What would you say is the best children’s book you’ve ever read?

Sometimes, I hate questions like these because I have a lot of favorites. So, for that reason alone, I'm going to stick with some of my more recent reads. One of the best children's book I've ever read was probably Finding Serendipity and its sequel, A Week Without Tuesday. You can see what I thought about them HERE & HERE. Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick was another good one. Oh, and the entire Double Vision trilogy by F.T. Bradley.

What are you reading this week?

  1. I usually keep the print books I buy these days...but this past year, I did a lot of purging, as I had books purchased many years before. I did keep a few of my favorites from the 70s and 80s, though, lol. Here is my MUSING MONDAYS POST

  2. I like to keep all my books. I think my inner child wants a library like in Beauty & the Beast.

I really enjoyed The Invention of Hugo Cabret, have yet to read Wonderstruck though! Brian Selznick's books are always amazing with their illustrations <3

  5. I keep all my books - can't help myself - I do re-read a lot but I know I will never get through them all, and I can never name one favourite there are so many embeded in my DNA:)

  6. Haha I love to keep all of my books too! I don't think I've re-read any of them but I like to think I might one day :) I'm addicted to my kindle at the moment, mainly because the husband then has no idea how many books I actually purchase. If I really love the story I usually end up buying the physical book cos, you know, I may re-read it lol.

    Happy Reading! :) Rachel @ Paein-and-Ms4Tune
