Rules:
Breana: Over my break from blogging, I got caught up on some of the albums I initially missed in 2020. One of them was Coping Mechanisms by Tayla Parx. I enjoyed this album (more on that later on a separate post), and one of my favorite songs from it is Dance Alone.
Adri: Thanks to Youtube recommendations, I found a new group called Boys World. Needless to say, their new song called Girlfriends is stuck in my head.
Andrea: This Music Monday post is my first post of 2021. I hope that everyone is doing well, and I would like to wish you all a happy, healthy, peaceful, and prosperous New Year. You can only guess that one of my New Year's resolutions is to be more active on the blog. With that said, I would like to share what I am listening to this week. I came across a newly released song, Paradise Circus-Gospel 21, by Idris Elba. I don't follow Idris Elba, so I was unaware that he could sing. I was pleasantly surprised by his new song—It's so relevant to the past year. Well, that's it for now. Have an amazing week!—Andrea
What are you listening to this week?

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you liked the songs. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteTayla PArx is totally new to me but I like her song! I always find new music here. :)
ReplyDeleteGirlfriends is fun!
And I had no idea Idris Elba could sing! I was just thinking of him the other day, trying to figure out if I ever watched the last season of Luther or not :)
I love Music Monday, because there is so much music to discover. I'm glad that you enjoyed the songs we selected. Luther is new to me despite the fact that its been on since 2010. As always, thanks for stopping by.
DeleteOoh if you ever watch Luther- the character of Alice is amazing! Scary, but amazing :)
DeleteI watched one of Luther's trailers. I plan to start watching this series soon. Hopefully, it's not too scary. I'm not the best with scary shows/movies. Back in the day, when we could go to the movie theaters, I was that woman who was audibly screaming and jumping out of my seat during scary moments.
DeleteHuh! I didn't realize Elba could sing either. :)
ReplyDeleteNeither did I. Thanks for stopping by!
