Rules:
Breana: SZA recently released a new song called Good Days. It's one of my favorites, and I've already added it to my playlist.
Adri: A very long time ago, we got a tiny meditation book that had a CD in it. Also a long time ago, that CD disappeared. The pocket that held it has a track list, and, for whatever reason, I never thought about looking it up until recently. I like all the artists, but for today my pick is Flowers of Time by Stephen Rhodes
Andrea: This week I'm listening to songs that further address the societal problems of today. The first song on my playlist is Weeping in the Promised Land by John Fogerty. I'm also listening to State Of The Union and Family by Marlon Craft. I hope everyone has an amazing week!
What are you listening to lately?
Great songs this week!

DeleteOoh Good Days is nice! I like.
ReplyDeleteI love the Rhodes pick- it has that sort of New Age/ ambient music (not sure what to call it) vibe that I love so much. Almost reminds me of the music of 2002 a little bit or even some of the Hearts of Space stuff.
Andrea's picks are awesome too. So timely. Wow I love it when music can make you more aware of society problems. We have so many lately...
I'm glad that you liked Good Days.
DeleteI also enjoyed Adri's pick this week. Rhodes's song is great relaxation music.
I first discovered Marlon Craft's music on MSNBC. He talked about the meaning of some of the lyrics, and I thought he had an interesting perspective about what's going on in society. Further, I found it interesting that he finished this song before recent events.
As for John Fogerty's song, I heard a portion of the song on CBS This Morning and later listened to the full song on YouTube. I love the message that he conveys during the interview and with Weeping in the Promised Land.
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have an amazing week.
I love that Flowers of Time song. Thanks for introducing it to me!
