The Friday 56 (24)

The Friday 56 is a weekly meme hosted by Freda's Voice where every Friday you pick a book and turn to page 56 or 56%, and select a sentence or a few, as long as it's not a spoiler. For the full rules, visit the the page HERE

The quote I'm sharing today comes from the book I already finished, and you can check out the review HERE. The quote comes from the preface, but its one I wanted to share anyway.

John Shaw's Guide to Digital Nature Photography"The process of nature photography is always changing, always evolving--new products and new techniques come along all the time.  I encourage you to develop your own way of working, your own equipment choices, and, most of all, your own vision."--John Shaw's Guide to Digital Nature Photography by John Shaw

What's on your page 56 this week? Or, what book do you plan on reading soon?

  1. I bought a book like this for my hubby and now he just needs to play with his camera and the book. Sigh. Friday Quotes

    1. I know, which is why I picked this quote rather than something from page 56. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

    1. I agree, on top of all of the helpful information, there were stunning photographs throughout the entire book. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend! :)

  4. This sounds like my kind of DIY book. I love books that are like that instead of it has to be a certain way!

  5. I love photography, even happen to have a hobby photography blog, but do not consider myself a pro or try to invest much into it. I just like to snap pics and see what comes out. :-)
I'm not against learning though... lol... don't get me wrong.
I have a digital photography book here, but by a different author. It was great for info, but again, you have to want to invest the time in it.
    Happy weekend!
