This week my 56 comes from my current read The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd. This is a book that's been sitting on my shelf for a while and I decided to give it a go. So far, it's good. 

Synopsis from Goodreads...

    I would probably pass by this book because of the cover, but the synopsis definitely caught my attention and makes me curious.

      The synopsis was definitely what drew me to the story. Since The Madman's Daughter is inspired by The Island of Dr. Moreau by H. G. Wells, I was looking for those details and I got them. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
