Synopsis from Goodreads...
Trinity...
Don’t leave me here... It starts with a whisper. At first Trinity thinks she’s going crazy. It wouldn’t be a big surprise—her grandpa firmly believes there’s a genuine dragon egg in their dusty little West Texas town. But this voice is real, and it’s begging for her protection. Even if no one else can hear it...
Connor...
He’s come from a future scorched by dragonfire. His mission: Find the girl. Destroy the egg. Save the world.
Caleb...
He’s everything his twin brother Connor hates: cocky, undisciplined, and obsessed with saving dragons.
Trinity has no idea which brother to believe. All she has to go by is the voice in her head—a dragon that won’t be tamed...

Do you have any favorite novels that feature dragons?
I remember loving dragons when I was younger...and I do collect some Disney figurines that include dragons...LOL.

DeleteI've been thinking about reading this book since I first saw it a few months ago.
ReplyDeleteMy current favorite books that involve dragons is this series that have human-dragon hybrid creatures called "Morgons." They're written by Juliette Cross. Waking the Dragon is one of the books.

DeleteNot really my genre but it sounds exciting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! :)
DeleteThanks for featuring Scorched as your Friday 56!! :) My favorite dragon book of all time is the HERO AND THE CROWN by Robin McKinley. It's about this kick ass girl dragon slayer named Aerin who develops a fireproof salve and goes off to hunt this evil huge dragon named Maur. It's beautifully written and so, so cool! I also love Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series.
ReplyDeleteMy grandson loves dragons and would be overjoyed to see a dragon egg! This one sounds exciting!
ReplyDeleteI think that would be my reaction too, especially if it was the one from Scorched. Thanks for stopping by! :D
DeleteI'm always looking for the next dragon book, whether shifters or real ones. I love The Dragonrider's Of Pern Series. Have them all in hard cover and reread them so many times:)
