Breana: Today, I'm sharing a few of my favorite Tove Lo songs. The first is Vibes featuring Joe Janiak from Lady Wood. The second is Thousand Miles from Queen of the Clouds.

Adri: I'm listening to Lion Babe, who recently released their new album, Rainbow Child, in August. My picks are Home and It's Okay feat. Oshun.

Andrea: Hi all! This week I'm listening to If the World Just Danced by Diana Ross, I Am What I Am by Gloria Gaynor, and Count on Me by Whitney Houston & CeCe Winans. I simply love Diana Ross's new song and am anxiously awaiting the release of her new album later this year. If anyone is interested, you can upload a video of yourself dancing to If the World Just Danced for a chance to be featured in the official video. Music Monday (164): Aurora, Diana Ross, Biz Markie, Lisa Shaw

Rules:

  • Music Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Lauren Stoolfire at Always Me that asks you to share one or two songs that you've recently enjoyed. For the rules, visit the page HERE
Breana: Aurora released a new song called Cure For Me. It's one of my favorite songs by this artist.

Adri: I don't think I mentioned it before, but, I found a ton of new songs and artists by going down a rabbit hole of deep / chill / ambient / downtempo house. That's where I found the likes of Copyright, Kathy Brown, J. Axel, etc. I also found the artist I'm talking about today, Lisa Shaw. Two of my favorite songs right now are, All Night High (Vocal) and I'm Okay.

Andrea: Hi all! This week I'm listening to Thank You by Diana Ross and Just A Friend by Biz Markie.

RIP Biz Markie (April 8, 1964-July 16, 2021)

Music Monday (114): Seinabo Sey, Woodkid, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie

Breana: Last week, I mainly listened to one of my playlists. So I don’t have any new-to-me-artists to talk about today. One of my favorite songs that I listened to on repeat last week is: Never Get Used To by Seinabo Sey. It's one of my favorite songs by this artist....

Adri: Long time no see, I have not listened to anything new recently. However, Woodkid came out with a new song called Goliath. I really like the music video's atmosphere. For some reason, it's giving me Horizon: Zero Dawn vibes.

Andrea: I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to share one of my favorite songs of all time, Endless Love by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie.

Music Monday (55): Imagine Dragons, Diana Ross, Sade, Fugees, & Soul ll Soul

   Rules:
  • Music Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Lauren Stoolfire at Always Me that asks you to share one or two songs that you've recently enjoyed. For the rules, visit the page HERE
Breana: My pick today is Natural by Imagine Dragons. Admittedly, I don’t listen to enough of their music. That changed recently when I decided to check and see if they’d done anything and happened to listen to Natural. It’s now one of my favorite songs….

I’m also listening to I’m Coming Out by Diana Ross. This is one of my favorite songs by Ross….

Adri: Ironically, I first heard of Sade from a Community (or Public) Access Television Channel that was playing their song, I Couldn’t Love you More. As I searched for more music, I realized that I heard of Sade way beforehand. It’s just that when it came out and was the first thing on iTunes, I didn’t pay much attention to their album Soldier of Love – which I now love… So, for this Music Monday, my pick is Soldier of Love by Sade.

Andrea: Over this past week, I've been listening to some of my old favorites: Killing Me Softly With His Song covered by the Fugees and Back To Life by Soul 'll Soul.

And that's it for today. What are you listening to this week?
