Breana: Kimbra has steadily released new music this year, and even though it's pretty different from her other stuff, I actually like the direction it's going in. One of my favorites so far is Stuff I Don't Need featuring Banks.
Andrea: Hi all! This week I'm listening to Breathing by Mary J. Blige featuring Fabolous. Have an amazing week!

Breana: One afternoon, I was surfing through my spotify recommendations, and I eventually landed on a page of new releases from artists I already follow. One of the songs I listened to and instantly added to my playlist was GLAM! by Allie X. I adore this song for its punchy, retro-pop brightness, and I wanted to mention it on the blog.
Adri: Hello, this week I'm listening to two vastly different artist I love. The first is Flowers by Kelly Rowland from her new EP, K. And the second, more on the metal side, is Pisces (Live Sesson) by Jinjer
Andrea: This week, I'm spotlighting music, performed, written, and/or produced by the late Prince Markie Dee (Mark Morales). Prince Markie Dee was a member of the Fat Boys and later released music with his band, Prince Markie Dee and The Soul Convention.

Breana: Recently, I've been listening to music by Meet Me @ The Altar. They're relatively new to me, but I really enjoy listening to their songs. One of my favorites is May The Odds Be In Your Favor. The sound kind of reminds me of Paramore's earlier music.
Andrea: This week I'm listening to Mighty River by Mary J. Blige. Mighty River was released a few years ago as a part of the soundtrack for Mudbound. I never watched the Netflix movie, and I just heard the song for the first time on Friday while I was listening to Spotify. I simply love Mighty River's message. You can listen to the song below.
I can't wait to discover what everyone is listening to this week. Have an amazing week & stay safe!

Breana: I'm currently listening to Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa. I'm really enjoying this album. One of my favorite songs from it is Love Again.
Adri: I recently ordered Oceans of Slumber's self-titled album. I haven't received it yet, but I've been listening to it on stream and am not disappointed. My first pick is The Colors of Grace.
My second pick is not on the album, but I still love it. It's called Strange Fruit, and this version is very haunting. The flashing lights add to the ambiance (by the way, warning for flashing lights).
Andrea: This week, I'm listening to Everything by Mary J. Blige.

Breana: My pick this week is one of my favorite songs by Bree Runway: All Night.
Andrea: I haven't had the chance to post for the past few weeks, so I hope this post finds everyone safe and well. My song choice for this week is Wake Up Everybody (2004) by Brandy, Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliot, Wyclef Jean, Ashanti & Various Other Artists. Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes originally released this song in 1975. Although the original song was released over 4 decades ago, it is so relevant to today. I look forward to finding out what everyone is listening to this week.

Breana: My pick this week is Raven Symone’s new song called Spacetruck. I like this song. It has a jazz sound and a chill vibe. It also fits with the kind of music I’ve been listening to in recent weeks.
Adri: Since I've been catching up on some projects, I've stayed on the same few playlists. But recently, I decided to check out some of Grace Jones' other work. I came across her 1979 album Muse, and I can't get enough. Thats why my pick for today is On Your Knees.
Andrea: One of the songs I've been listening to this week is Reminisce by Mary J. Blige.
I also came across Doctor Elvis on Instagram. I love his cover of Mike Yung's song Alright. I admire what he does for a living and think he has an amazing voice. So if you are curious, click on the link above to hear his cover of Alright. After listening to Doctor Elvis, I sought out Mike Yung's Video on YouTube. It's such an uplifting song that I had to share it this week. Mike Yung appeared on season 12 of America's Got Talent. You can find more information about Yung on Wikipedia. Have an amazing week!

Breana: Continuing with last week’s theme, I have another new favorite holiday song to talk about this week. I listen to a lot of Sia’s music, and just like Lindsey Stirling, she released a holiday album just in time for December: Everyday is Christmas. I like the whole album. So, it was difficult to pick just one song to focus on today. But, my pick this week is Candy Cane Lane. Listen, I like candy cane, which is part of the reason why I like this song. I mean, beside the fact that it’s just a good song. If you haven’t listened to it yet, I definitely recommend doing that now.
