It’s time for another Quarterly Recap. I’m going to skip a long intro and jump right into reviews for July, August, and September....

I want to do more art/random type posts again. I kept up with them in July and August. However, for the past month, I’ve experienced some creative burnout and couldn’t figure out what I wanted to write or read for a few weeks—and the things I did create were ones I didn’t want to share on the blog. Luckily, October is one of my favorite months, and I have a couple of different posts planned. And if all goes well, they should appear sometime this month or in November.

Upcoming posts that are already scheduled....

On Friday, I’m going to post my thoughts about Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik. Later, I have reviews for Mem by Bethany C. Morrow and The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory. I also have a spotlight post coming up that I’m excited to share.

Welcome to the third Quarterly Recap in which I'm going to quickly go over what's happened on the blog over the past three months. As always, I'm going to jump right in and start with reviews...

I'm making some changes to this section of the post (cleaning it up a bit). I'm going to list other post that have appeared on the blog except for weekly meme's.

It's been a long time coming but I finally went to my local library, and I look forward to going more often. Plus, I feel like I've started a lot of series and I really need to finish them. But yeah, that's about it for now. Anyway, happy reading!

Quarterly Recap: April-June

Wow, would you look at that, it's already JULY. Anyway, welcome to what would have been the second trimonthly recap, but I'm renaming it to Quarterly Recap. (Its still going to remain as once every three months, so that's not changing.) As always, I’m going to give a quick summary of all of the things that happened on the blog from the beginning of April all the way through June. So, I’m just going to jump right into it, and start with reviews…

June Reviews:
In general, April was a relatively busy month. I did the first Trimonthly Recap for the January through March, and started doing a new type of post called Weekend Tidbits. I also participated in the Reading Habits Book Tag and a list post called Series/Novels I would Like to see on the Screen. And lastly, I took part in the Blitz for Awakening by Shannon Duffy and a release day post for Dragons Are People, Too by Sarah Nicolas.

I started off May with a much needed week long break before participating in the Release Day Blitz for The Wrath and The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. I also did a Weekend Tidbit about the humming bird that was nesting right outside the window of my house. They were cute while they stuck around, but I never got a picture of them before they left the nest. Later in the month I participated in a Release Date Reveal for Victoria Scott's Titans and a short release day post for Lindsay Cummings Death Code.

And finally, we have June. At the start of the month was the cover reveal for Of Ice and Snow by Amber Argyle. On the fifth it was National Doughnut day and about a week or so later I posted a Weekend Tidbit about my day and the recipe I tried out. Later in the month I did an Interview with Kimberly Karalius, and entered Marissa Meyer's The Lunar Chronicles Bookmark contest.
I have to say that it's been a pretty productive three months, so the only thing I'm really looking forward to doing is maintaining my pace with blogging and reading.

Trimonthly Recap: January-March

Welcome the first trimonthly recap on Our Thoughts Precisely. I figured that instead of doing a recap each month that I would do one at the end of a three month increment. This is just a place to recap reviews and various types of posts. I'm going to start with reviews...

January Reviews:

February Reviews:

March Reviews:

Beginning with January, I listed my 2015 Blogger Resolutions, created a Book Tag, and participated in the cover reveal for Maybe Me by Amber Hart

Moving right along to February I participated in the Would You Rather Book Tag, took part in an excerpt reveal for Salt & Stone by Victoria Scott, did a Book Haul, and a post for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award

And finally in March, on the fifteenth Our Thoughts Precisely turned 2 and I updated the design. I wrote a discussion post on the importance of taking a break, and participated in two cover reveals: Balance Keepers: The Pillars of Ponderay by Lindsay Cummings & Dragons Are People, Too by Sarah Nicolas.
I would like to get more nonfiction in the next couple of months (I recently finished one and started another), so if you have any suggestions leave them in the comments.  On another note, I want to look for more Book Tags to participate in since they're fun to do. Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!

Our Thoughts Precisely is turning 2!

I’m just going to jump right into this. Our Thoughts Precisely started on March 15, 2013 so today officially makes the blog two years old. Hooray! We don’t have anything planned for today except for the new header which should be up some time today, but other than that, yeah, the blog turned two. As for the design of the blog, not everything is changing—some things sooner than others, other designs won’t be changing at all.

Other places where you can find us online…
So yeah, that’s basically it. Thank you to the readers that have stuck around with us these past two years, and we look forward to having another great year. Happy reading!
